   Composition
Syrup:Each 5 ml contains:
Carbinoxamine Maleate 1.25 mg
Phenylephrine HCL 1.00 mg
Capsules: Each capsule contains:
Carbinoxamine Maleate 2 mg
Phenylephrine HCL 10 mg

Properties /
Effects
Carbinoxamine maleate possesses H1-antihistaminic activity and a mild sedative effect. Phenylephrine HCl is an oral sympathomimetic that acts as a decongestant to respiratory tract mucous membranes. The above combination has proved to be of great usefulness in the symptomatic treatment of the common cold.

Indications
Symptomatic relief of the common cold, acute and allergic rhinitis, sinusitis and allergic conjunctivitis.

Contraindications
RHINOMODE is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the product, severe hypertension, or patients receiving MAO inhibitors. Its is contraindicated also in severe coronary disease, cardiovascular disease, also pregnancy where it may cause foetal hypoxia.

Precautions
Patients sensitive to antihistamines may experience drowsiness, therefore patients subject to this effect should avoid driving a car or doing work that requires fine precision, it should be used with caution in patients with prostatomegaly or anuria.

Side Effects
Dizziness, mouth dryness, nausea, increased heart rate or blood pressure and tremors may occasionally be observed.

Dosage
Adults: 1 capsule 3 times daily.
Children and infants: 1/2 to 1 teaspoonful 3-4 times daily.

Drug Interactions
Antihistamines may enhance the sedative effect of central nervous system depressants.

Packing
Syrup: Bottle of 60 ml.
Capsules: Pack of 20 – 400 caps.
