PROPERTIES
BIOMED is specially formulated to create a high potency antioxidant supplement that meets a wide range of dietary needs. Antioxidants may neutralize the effects of free radicals, which are highly reactive oxygen molecules created by environmental factors such as : ultra violet radiation, light, pollution, x-rays, alcohol, tobacco as well as by normal body processes.
INDICATIONS
BIOMED is indicated for:
- The prevention of cardiovascular diseases by reducing the harmful oxidation of fats in the blood.
- Reducing the risk of cancer by diminishing the DNA damage.
- Reducing lipids peroxidation in smokers, and alcohol abusers.
- Improving the function of the immune system.
- Improving the absorption of food.
- Photo sensitivity , nyctalopia.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS
Pregnancy, sensitivity to any of the components of the drug.
PRECAUTIONS
Lactation.
DRUG INTERACTIONS
Vitamin C may disturb the detection of glucose in the urine. Vitamin E may increase prothrombine time with patients taking oral anticoagulants.
SIDE EFFECTS
Vitamin E, C, and betacaroten are very well tolerated when used in therapeutical doses.
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION
One capsule daily with the meal.
