COMPOSITION
Each 1 ml = 20 drops contains:
Paracetamol 80mg
PROPERTIES
FEVRALE is the analgesic and antipyretic of choice especially in children in whom salicilates are contraindicated because of the risk of Reye’s syndrome.
INDICATIONS
FEVRALE is indicated for the fast and effective relief of children and infants fever and
pain caused by immunization, teething, earache, headache, cold and flu.
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION
The individual dose is determined according to age .The usual doses for infants and children are:

These doses may be administered 3-4 times daily. For post immunization pyrexia, administer a dose of 60 mg or 15 drops for infants between 2-3 months of age, followed by a second dose after 4-6 hours.
If the pyrexia persists more than 5 days, parents should seek medical advice.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
No recorded contraindications.
PRECAUTIONS
Paracetamol should be given with care to patients with impaired kidney or liver function and to patients taking other drugs that affect the liver.
DRUGS INTERACTIONS
The absorption of paracetamol may be accelerated by metoclopramide.
SIDE- EFFECTS
Side -effects of paracetamol are rare and usually mild. Skin rashes or itching occur occasionally.
