Saw Palmetto In a Pill
Wassen International Ltd. and MPI have recently teamed up to offer an innovative safe treatment and prevention for benign (mild) prostatic enlargement “PROSTACARE”
Prostacare is a combination of vitamins and minerals with special emphasis on the herbal extract of (saw palmetto). It was specially formulated for men over 40 years of age.
The native American (red) Indians used (saw palmetto) to relieve problems of the genito-urinary tract. Clinical trials have recently shown the herb to be helpful in the treatment of non-malignant prostatic enlargement. It appears to prevent the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), the hormone responsible for prostatic enlargement.
A multicenter study was carried out in Belgium on 505 patients treated with Prostacare supplement for only 45 days. The study has shown significant reduction of prostate size and residual urinary flow.
Because prostatic surgery is not the treatment of choice for most patients, the therapeutic effect of Prostacare is relatively adequate by itself.
Since (saw palmetto)has diuretic properties, Prostacare contributes to the reduction of the prostate swelling.
The incidence of Prostacare side-effects is very low -does not exceed 5%- and compares favorably with that reported for classical medical therapies.
